1. First, use a voltage tester to identify the live wire.
2. Turn off the power supply to the socket.
3. Connect the live wire to the terminal marked "A" on the switch (one of its two terminals); Then, run a 2.5 mm² insulated wire from the other terminal of the switch and securely connect it to the "L" terminal on the socket (one of its three terminals).
4. Identify the neutral wire and securely connect it directly to the "N" terminal on the socket.
5. Identify the ground wire and securely connect it directly to the "E" terminal on the socket.
Note: The neutral and ground wires must not be misconnected (typically, when facing the socket, the neutral terminal is on the left, the live terminal is on the right, and the ground terminal is at the top); otherwise, plugging in an electrical appliance and switching it on will immediately trigger a circuit breaker trip.
