1. Power sockets should be products that have been inspected and qualified by relevant national product quality supervision departments. Generally, high-end products with flame-retardant materials should be used, and low-end and counterfeit products should not be used.

2. Safety type sockets should be used for electrical power sockets in residential areas, and splash proof sockets should be used in damp places such as bathrooms.

3. The rated current of the power socket should be greater than 1.25 times the rated current of the known equipment being used. The rated current of a general single-phase power socket is 10A, while that of a dedicated power socket is 16A. The distribution circuit and power connection method of special high-power household appliances should be selected according to the actual capacity.

4. For the convenience of insertion, a 86mm × 86mm unit panel should ideally have two combination sockets, with a maximum of three (including switches). Otherwise, a 146 panel multi hole socket should be used.

5. For household appliances (such as washing machines) that pose a risk of electric shock when plugged in, sockets with a switch to disconnect the power should be used.

6. In damp places, when installing sockets, waterproof boxes should be installed at the same time.
