XLR Dust Cap consists of a soft rubber or plastic cap body, port-fitting edge, grip edge, and optional lanyard structure. The inner diameter is controlled according to the XLR connector profile, covering the port edge after installation. Soft rubber is suitable for frequent opening and closing; ABS hard caps are suitable for fixed equipment panels and long-term protection packaging.
